Consulting Engineers Fort Smith, Arkansas 1972 - 1986 Vice President Project Engineer Burrough Brasuell Corporation Van Buren, Arkansas 1986 - Present FIELDS OF EXPERIENCE Mr. Brasuell began his professional career as a structural steel designer for a steel fabricator designing structural systems for commercial, industrial, and material handling facilities. Mr. Brasuell was retained by Mickle Bell and Associates as a Project Engineer for a municipal water treatment facility. Upon completion of this assignment, he progressed to his own firm which performed structural engineering design for large commercial centers, schools, industrial facilities, and material handling facilities. Mr. Brasuell merged his firm with the firm of Bell Burrough Uerling in 1972 creating Burrough Uerling Brasuell Consulting Engineers and expanding his professional capabilities to include project engineering and management extended to all engineering disciplines. In 1992, Mr. Brasuell joined in the formation of Burrough Brasuell Corporation as Vice President responsible for all engineering services. Mr. Brasuell was one of the earliest structural engineers to use computers and computer software in structural analysis and production of contract documents. He has maintained his interest in computer applications and is currently the developer of Structural Desktop. SDT is interface software that allows seamless transfer of data from design to analysis to production of working drawings. SDT works within AutoCad and Architectural Desktop for design and production, and interfaces with various analysis software programs developed by STAAD, RISA, SAP2000 and GTSTRUDL. He is a leading proponent of Building Information Modeling.
